Ms. Jennifer HaenleinBorn and raised in the Hudson Valley, Ms. Jen brings to the classroom over twenty years of experience in working with young children. Locally, she is a children's empowerment
leader of great renown and highly respected community activist, responsible for spearheading countless advancements for young people in our area of the Hudson Valley. Moreover, she is an artist in her own right, bringing to the classroom a spirit of creativity and a knowledge of artistic forms and art history that is rare to find in an early childhood specialist. Her dedication to her students does not end when they leave her room or even when they graduate from her program; she prides herself on building life-long connections with every child she has the honor to meet. |
Ms. Jessica McGuireMs. Jess is proud to be starting her second year here at CBA, and we are thrilled to have her back in our Early Childhood program! A graduate of Mount Saint Mary College, Ms. Jess is a gentle but strong educator with excellent classroom management and a keen eye toward differentiation. She believes in individualization of instruction and forms personalized goals that challenge every student in her care. Ms. Jess's quick wit and ready smile make her a true gift to these young learners. Together with Ms. Jen and Ms. P, they have built an incredible academic program that utilizes PAF/OG, multisensory math, cultural studies, character formation, STEM, and French, as well as so many life lessons.

Ms. Katie Paniccia, a native of Albany, NY, graduated from SUNY Potsdam with Bachelors Degrees in both Theatre and Childhood Education, and then earned her MS in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading and Literacy from SUNY New Paltz. Ms. Paniccia has since resided in the Ulster/Dutchess County area, continuing to pursue her passions in teaching and performing, while integrating arts education in the classroom. Growing up in the Albany area, Katie was involved in numerous artistic and theatrical productions and knows from first hand experience what the arts can do for a child’s academic and social-emotional growth. Over the course of many years, theatre has become a lifelong passion of hers, along with working with children in various settings with many different learning styles. She firmly believes that exposure to the performing and creative arts increases academic achievement. In combining her two passions, Katie enjoys incorporating elements of theatre in the classroom, while teaching students lifelong literacy and SEL skills. Ms. Paniccia hopes to inspire her students to love learning and to develop self-confidence, while demonstrating kindness and respect for others within their community. She strongly believes in encouraging students to reach their full potential and to become lifelong learners. Ms. Paniccia also believes in the importance of incorporating multicultural lessons in her classroom to celebrate diversity. She is looking forward to a very positive and rewarding school year!
