Are these courses open to the community, or do you have to be a registered CBA student? All courses are open to any student who needs help in these areas, especially in preparing for upcoming exams!
What if my child/teenager has vacation plans during this course? Because classes are offered both in-person and virtually, students can attend in either fashion at any time and still avail themselves of all needed lessons and information. If a student will not have access to a printer for an upcoming class, we would ask that you let your teachers know in advance so they can plan accordingly!
Who teaches these courses? These courses are taught by our Upper School mathematics and humanities teachers, who also happen to be our Head of School and Assistant Head of School (we do not believe that effective administrators ever leave the classroom, so here at CBA every department head, dean, and admin teaches as well as leads). They are highly experienced, certified, and incredibly successful at helping students learn the material needed to succeed both in these disciplines and on these exams. They are the best of the best!
How do we pay for the courses? Students who are attending in-person can bring a check made out to Canterbury Brook Academy on the first day of the program. All other students can mail their checks to our school at 265-267 Van Ness Street Newburgh, NY 12518.
How can we register? Please email your inquiry to [email protected]. You will quickly receive a registration form to fill out digitally and return. Classes will run as long as we have a minimum of 5 students per section.
