The CBA Family Task Force

Welcome to the home of the Canterbury Brook Academy of the Arts Family Task Force, also known as FTF!  Our FTF members are critical member of our CBA team.  Made up of parents, grandparents, guardians, and friends, these adults advocate for children in our school and help our faculty achieve our goals both educationally and socially.  The FTF meets formally once per quarter at a meeting hosted by CBA's Head of School and administrative staff.   FTF members are also called upon when teachers need chaperones for trips, extra pairs of hands for events, or simply another set of eyes in the preparations for a performance.  We appreciate our FTF members enormously and know that we could not do half of what we do without their support.  Unless you tell us otherwise, we will assume that at least your child's primary guardians are members of our FTF.  Your level of involvement is up to you.  We understand how busy your lives are and are grateful for any help you can offer.  We look forward to working with you throughout the year to make CBA the best school it can be!  Pending the availability of the guardians on our board, meetings happen on the second Monday of each month, at 6 PM and are held virtually to enable as many family members as possible to come.  Announcements of meetings are always made through the Family Chat on WhatsApp, and links are shared there as well.

​Volunteer Requests!

Seeking family volunteers to help set up and staff our CBA Library!  We are continuing to accept book donations, as well, but we look forward to staffing our new library with anyone who is willing to help and spend some extra time in school with the child[ren] you love!
