Part of our school's mission is to give back to the community of which we are a part. As such, we have partnered with five different local restaurants to provide meals for our students. On the first school day of each month, you will receive a calendar home from our Director of Food Services. This will detail for you each meal offered during the following month. For example, on October 1st, you would receive the menu for the month of November. Please return these menus no later than the 15th of every month with a check made out to the school for the total amount due. Send in the completed menu form and your check with your child, in an envelop marked "School Lunch." This will be collected by your child's homeroom teacher and sent to our Director of Food Services who will ensure that your child gets his or her meal on each day of the consecutive month. Please note that, on August 1st, you will be receiving an email from CBA with the lunch options for the month of September. You will reply to this via email by August 15th to secure your child's meals for the first month of school.
Each day of the week follows a pattern, so you will come to know which days in particular your child may be interested in receiving lunch through our program. Please refer to the following schedule, and check out some of the dishes our restaurant partners are preparing for our students' dining pleasure:

Food Rules
Many of our students at CBA have food allergies. For this reason, absolutely no sharing of food items will be tolerated. If a student forgets his or her lunch at home, parents will be called and given the following options: either bring the child a lunch or have a Top 8 Free lunch provided to your child for $8.00 (this lunch will include an Enjoy Life Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Oval, a GoSqueeze Apple Sauce, a Sunbutter Dip Pack with plain Friendly Grains Rice Rollers, Yum Earth Organic Gummies, and an organic Apple Juice). Should your child forget snack, teachers will have top 8 free snacks in their classrooms for your child to have or you may bring their snack in for them. Please do not depend on the teachers to feed your children; remember that they provide emergency snacks only.
Remember, when sending in your child's snack and lunch, to avoid sending in any PN/TN products as these are prohibited at our school. Moreover, at the start of each year, you will be alerted to any allergies in your child's class. We ask that you please alert your child to these allergies and try, as often as possible, to pack sensitively.
Students who remain in aftercare or who partake in our after-school clubs should bring an after-school snack with them from home. Please abide by the same rules you would during the school day, and pack safely and thoughtfully. Please note that the CBA Snack Barre is closed after school hours.
For birthday celebrations, we welcome students to bring in special treats from home to share, but we ask that you speak first to your child's classroom teacher about your plans. Thank you for your support in keeping our beloved students safe!
